Immigration

The majority of EARN group reports on immigration focus on the characteristics and overall economic impact of immigrants to the state’s economy. Links to the following reports include descriptions of demographics, birthplace by world region, population growth rates, wages and occupational descriptions of immigrants. Some reports also detail the level of taxes paid by immigrants, tax revenues generated by their employers and the costs associated with enforcing the present immigration system. A few studies focus on the limited access of some immigrants to health care and public services.
